Since its formation following WWII, the UN has a consistent history of failing to prevent wars. Moreover, when wars do break out, the UN often fails to take action to bring violence to an end.
The organization is also mired in corruption and sex abuse scandals.
As such, the UN either needs to undergo substantial reorganization or simply needs to disband and make way for a more effective and functional international body.
The mere fact that russia is still allowed to be on the UN Security Council despite repeatedly using nuclear blackmail and weaponizing global hunger is a travesty.
